Well, Things in the Scott house are a lot different. We are adjusting to having little Phin around. I am learning to live on 4 hours of sleep, and carting two kids around instead of one. BUT, there is one of us in this house who is still her little spunky self. Ele has been AMAZING adjusting to having a baby brother. She has her moments of tantrums, but she all in all she has just been great. Until yesterday afternoon. I took the kids up to my mom's house so Ele could run around the back yard and just be in her world of adventure and do her thing. Well, my mom and I were sitting at the kitchen table watching Ele out in the sand box which is in the very back of my parents yard. Their sandbox surrounds an old apple tree that my parents don't really care about, so they let the kids pick the apples and play with them as long as they throw the apples in the trash so Grandpa doesn't run over them with the lawn mower. Well, there aren't many apples left on the tree because the kids have pulled most of the low ones off already, but Ele needed some food for her horses so she decided to pick the "apples," from the little trees in Grams garden. Well, they weren't apples they were my mom's Roma tomatoes that she was so excited about. Let's just say, my mom won't have to many Roma's this summer! Grandma and Grandpa laughed so hard they could hardly stand it! Ele is a very lucky little girl to have a grandma and grandpa with such a good sense of humor. They thought it was just the funniest thing when she carted them into the house and showed them what she had done and apologized. She is our sweet little adventurer!

Phin

Well, He is here. Phineas Jacob Scott was born on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 2:13 pm. He Weighed 8 lbs and was 20 in long. BIG BOY! He is our sweet little Angel and we are so happy to finally have him here. He is already sleeping half the night and only cries when he has to get his diaper changed. Ele is a HUGE fan of her baby brother and wants to do everything for him. She is our little helper. Phin loves her already.

Mothers Day
Mothers. What can you say. Jac and I are so blessed to have the best moms! Ele is so in love with both of her grandmothers. She adores them, and talks about them so much. She loves to go to Grandma Scott's house and make popcorn and watch movies. She loves to go to Grandma Davis's and play in the backyard and play with Grandma and Grandpas rocks and dirt. They are all so great and love Ele so much. We love our moms, and want them to know how much we appreciate them. Ele is so lucky to have two amazing women to look up too. Our moms are both the most nurturing, loving women and they take such good care of their families. We love and thank you both so much. Happy Mothers Day!

Spring Chick!

Well, it has been a while since I have posted anything, so I thought I had better get off my duff and get something updated. Life is just moving a long for the Scotts. We are getting ready for our sweet baby boy to enter the world. We only have 11 weeks left to go. WOW! How time goes by so quickly. We are getting his room all ready and trying to prepare Ele for what is coming. She seems to be really excited and says she has a baby in her belly too. She is really getting into taking care of her babies lately and loves to feed them bottles. I think she is going to be an amazing big sister.
We have been doing a lot of fun things out side in this beautiful weather. My sister Candace and I took our kids to the Hogle Zoo a couple of weeks ago and we had a blast! The kids love to see the animals and loved running around. Candace and I enjoyed watching them discover all the animals, but we really enjoyed being out in the gorgeous weather and enjoying each others company.
Ele Loves her Sandbox in our backyard and pretty much lives out there. She was out there almost all day yesterday. It is nice to sit out there with her and play. She is our sweet Angel. We love her so much, and can't get enough of her.
Jac took some really great shots of Ele the other day.We were at Jac's parents in the front yard, and he got some really cute pics. We are very proud parents of our little girl. She has started going on the potty, and is such a big girl. It kind of makes you sad when you look back at how little she use to be. Now she is a maniac on her scooter and has started peddling on her bike. Daddy wants to buy her a big girl bike with training wheels for her birthday next month. We will have too see how it goes.

Snow, snow go away!
I don't know about you all, but I am DONE with the snow! I am ready for Spring! Elle keeps asking to go to the Park and go ride the ponies at Thanksgiving Pointe. She is sick of being cooped up in the house too! We are ready to see some green grass, tulips sprouting out of the garden, and feel the warmth of the sun. Elle is lucky though. She has an amazing Dad who takes her swimming at the Orem Rec. She loved it!
I have been doing a lot of reading lately. I just finished one of the best books I have ever read in my life. It is up there with the Twilight series. It is called Austenland by Shannon Hale. It is fabulous! I have a MAJOR obsession with Mr. Darcy from Pride and Prejudice, so it was right up my alley. Check it out if you are looking for something to read. She also has a great series out that is good too. The Goose Girl, Enna Burning, and River Secrets. Very good! She is a fabulous writer! I love to read. Elle does too, she will sit next to me with her books and look at the pictures and ask me if I want to trade her books. When we do trade, she wants hers back pretty quickly because mommy's doesn't have any pictures.
Jac and I will be finding out what sex the babies is on February 28th at 2 pm, so I will keep you all posted! WE ARE REALLY EXCITED!! Elle says it's a baby sister, but we aren't sure. My mom thinks it's a boy, and I don't have a feeling either way. With Elle, I knew she was a girl, but this one, I am not sure. We don't care what it is, we just want a healthy baby! So, stay tuned for the big news!
