HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!

Yesterday was my mom's birthday. Happy Birthday to my Mommy! Anyone that knows my mom understands why I love her sooooooooo much! She is an amazing woman. She is the best daughter, wife, mom, grandma, and friend. She is always there for all of us. Especially for me lately. It has been a real adjustment for me going from a mom of one, to a mom of two. I wouldn't of made it without my mom. She has really been there for me and the kids. Jac is going to be working a lot out of town the next couple of months, and I know my mom is always right there if I need her. I love you mom. You are an amazing, strong, and loving woman. We are all so lucky to have you.

HAPPY DAY!

I know that this may be a really stupid post, but I had to share my joy. I am a really spoiled girl when it comes to gifts from Jac. He bought me a Tiffany & Co. bracelet a few years ago for Valentines Day. And then for Christmas last year he bought me a "E" charm from Tiffany's to go on my bracelet. Well, I haven't been able to find the bracelet for a while. I have been really sick about it. I remember wearing it on Easter, but that is the last time I remember having it on. I hadn't told Jac that I couldn't find it because I didn't want him to think I had lost it. Well, I have been having dreams lately that I find my bracelet in weirdest places. Yesterday morning Ele wanted me to paint her toes. I went into the downstairs bathroom cabinet to get out the fingernail polish box, and sitting right there on the shelf was my bracelet. I get in that cabinet at least three times a day, I can't believe I hadn't found it before.
YAY! I about died! I seriously started to cry. I am not joking! I have been obsessing about it for while. I am soooooooooooooo happy that I found it! Now i can maybe get a "P" for it?!?!?! We will have to see! I am actually hinting and bucking for a new wedding band for our 10 year anniversary, so we will see. You should all give Jac hints when you see him! HEEEEHEEEE!!

kidlings!

Well, Phin is one month old. How time flies. I can't believe it. I am getting use to not sleeping FINALLY! He is a really good baby though. He is usually really content and happy if mommy is holding him. He loves his big sister and will stop crying as soon as he hears her voice. Ele is sooooooooo good with him. She doesn't understand to not put things over his face, and pushes a little hard on him when she is helping me change his diapers or helping get him dressed, but other than that, she is amazing with him. She did say the other day that I should just put a pillow over his face to get him to stop crying! OY! Jac and I keep a very good eye on her right now with him. Where did she get that Bapa?!?!?! My dad likes to teach Ele really interesting things!

Cowgirl!

I had to share this picture with everyone. Anyone who knows Ele knows she is not much of a girly girl. She is very much a little Tom Boy who loves horses. Daddy took her to Gunnies the other day and let her pick out her own cowboy hat. She loves it! She wears all the time. She was so tired the other day in the car and fell asleep with her hat on. She is so excited because she is going to the Rodeo, the "Radio" as she calls it, on August 8th up in Summit County. Mommy and Phin are probably going to stay home. We still haven't decided if he and I are going.

OH NO!

Well, Things in the Scott house are a lot different. We are adjusting to having little Phin around. I am learning to live on 4 hours of sleep, and carting two kids around instead of one. BUT, there is one of us in this house who is still her little spunky self. Ele has been AMAZING adjusting to having a baby brother. She has her moments of tantrums, but she all in all she has just been great. Until yesterday afternoon. I took the kids up to my mom's house so Ele could run around the back yard and just be in her world of adventure and do her thing. Well, my mom and I were sitting at the kitchen table watching Ele out in the sand box which is in the very back of my parents yard. Their sandbox surrounds an old apple tree that my parents don't really care about, so they let the kids pick the apples and play with them as long as they throw the apples in the trash so Grandpa doesn't run over them with the lawn mower. Well, there aren't many apples left on the tree because the kids have pulled most of the low ones off already, but Ele needed some food for her horses so she decided to pick the "apples," from the little trees in Grams garden. Well, they weren't apples they were my mom's Roma tomatoes that she was so excited about. Let's just say, my mom won't have to many Roma's this summer! Grandma and Grandpa laughed so hard they could hardly stand it! Ele is a very lucky little girl to have a grandma and grandpa with such a good sense of humor. They thought it was just the funniest thing when she carted them into the house and showed them what she had done and apologized. She is our sweet little adventurer!

Phin

Well, He is here. Phineas Jacob Scott was born on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 2:13 pm. He Weighed 8 lbs and was 20 in long. BIG BOY! He is our sweet little Angel and we are so happy to finally have him here. He is already sleeping half the night and only cries when he has to get his diaper changed. Ele is a HUGE fan of her baby brother and wants to do everything for him. She is our little helper. Phin loves her already.

Mothers Day

Mothers. What can you say. Jac and I are so blessed to have the best moms! Ele is so in love with both of her grandmothers. She adores them, and talks about them so much. She loves to go to Grandma Scott's house and make popcorn and watch movies. She loves to go to Grandma Davis's and play in the backyard and play with Grandma and Grandpas rocks and dirt. They are all so great and love Ele so much. We love our moms, and want them to know how much we appreciate them. Ele is so lucky to have two amazing women to look up too. Our moms are both the most nurturing, loving women and they take such good care of their families. We love and thank you both so much. Happy Mothers Day!
