We had a fun Day on Halloween. We went and saw my sweet Nana with Candace and her kids. Then we came home and got Ele ready to go trick or treating. Ele was Cinderella and Phin was a Lion. Phin hated his costume and was screaming the whole time he was in it, so he ended up just wearing his little outfit and owl hat. We didn't even get a picture of him in the costume. I am going to have to put it on him and take some pictures. It is really cute on him even if he is screaming!
We went trick or treating all over the neighborhood and Ele got lots, and lots of good candy. Jac and I have been sneaking some and she is too smart, she notices when something is missing! Silly girl!
Jac has been working so much that it was so nice to have him home that night to go out trick or treating with us.
Ele's favorite thing to do on Sundays is go on a bike ride at the river trail by our house. She and Jac have gone most Sundays. It is going to be too cold soon, so Jac made sure they got to go one last time!
We had a fun Halloween and hope you all did too. We are looking forward to the next up coming Holidays!

Nielsen's Grove and Cornbelly's!
Candace and I have been taking advantage of the warm weather. We took the girls to Nielsen's Grove the other day while Andrew was in school. It was a lot of fun to watch the girls feed the ducks and play. Ele decided that she was going to chase the ducks. Well, I of course was encouraging her and Ally to do it while Candace was telling them not too. Ele got a little excited and kicked a duck! I was laughing so hard because I don't think she meant to do it. I think she was just excited and kicking her feet but she made contact. Don't worry, she didn't hurt, and I don't think she will ever do that again. It scared her pretty bad. It did give Candace and I a good laugh though!
We also went to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point. It was pretty fun. My mom and her good friend Judy came too. We had a good time. It got a bit cold and windy so we went to McDonalds. Candace and I decided that the kids had more fun there. Next year we will save the $10.50 a person and just go to the Lehi McDonalds! Our kids are very easy to please!

Tag you're it!
I got tagged by my friend Shannon. This is what you do. You go to your fourth file and pick the fourth picture and post it. Mine is of Ele at her cousin Carly's birthday party last year. She is wearing her Tinker Bell costume. She loved that thing last year. This Halloween she is going to be Cinderella. So we soon will have another dress up dress!
I tag Candace, Em, Jes, Lexi, Zulie, McKell, April, Aimee, and Amy. Have fun!

Pumpkins, Chuck E Cheese, Fun, Oh My!
Well, we have been doing a lot of fun things this last week while Jac is constantly working. He has been traveling a lot this last couple of months, and while he was in Laguna this last weekend, my sister Candace and I took the kids to Pumpkin Land at Vinyard Gardens and then to Chuck E Cheese. I am not a huge fan of Chuck E Cheese, but Ele loves it. Even though she got lost. Yes, we had our first paging over the P.A. system. I was freaking out! I don't like Ele to wander off, and I am a psycho when it comes to her being where I can see her. She just decided to take a detour and couldn't find the table. It was really sad. But, all in all, we had a blast! My parents came too. It was great! Phin enjoyed his first time there. He sat with Bapa and laughed. Yes, my dad got to see Phin's first laugh. I got it on camera too. It is great!
We have really been missing Jac being home and around, but we have been enjoying ourselves while he has been away. We just wish he was with us!

She did it!
YAY! Ele has done it! She is FINALLY potty trained! We spent all week last week naked at home going potty. Jac and I are so proud of her. It was really hard for her. She was almost completely potty trained and then I went into the hospital to have Phin and she gave up. She decided that she needed to be a baby still, and didn't want to even try for the last two months. Nothing was working. Jac was evening telling her he would buy her a play house for the backyard, and she still wouldn't do it. I just got fed up with changing her pull ups, and that was it! She handled it really well and has even pooped on the potty. That is amazing for Ele.
She is such a sweet, beautiful, smart and amazing little girl who Jac and I adore. We love you Ele, and we are so proud of you.
Oh yea, she loves the Disney Princess collection she got for her accomplishment. What ever works right?!?!?!

FINALLY!

Well, I finally finished Breaking Dawn. I know, I know, I can't believe it took me this long too. I am usually a very quick reader, but this one took a while. This was definitely not my favorite of the series, but I read it and I am glad to be done with it. I LOVED Twilight, but I think the last three have definitely gone down hill each book. Well, that is my opinion on the series. Those of you who love them all, good for you. I am a much bigger Mr. Darcy fan than I am an Edward or Jacob fan. NOW that is a MAN! I have had a secret passion for Mr. Darcy since I was a junior in high school and it has still continued even though I am married to a very AMAZING man. I watch Pride and Prejudice at least twice a month. It is a very sick obsession, and it drives Jac crazy! He is a very patient with my Mr. Darcy infatuation. Jac is definitely my Mr. Fitzwilliam Darcy.
Well then, I have said my peace. I love to read and will read just about anything, but I have to say that Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book to date.

Circus and Bumbo time!
Well, life has definitely been crazy around the Scott household. Jac is working non stop. He and Steven landed a really great side job gig, so he is pretty much non existent. We see him maybe an hour a day. It has been really hard on Ele. She misses her daddy so much. And I didn't realize how much he does around here until he is gone. We are going to make it though. He will be finished by the 18th of October. So if you see me with less hair, you know why. HEEEEHEEEE!
I took Ele up to see the Circus this last Friday. She needed a date with mom with no baby Phin. Phin stayed home with my great friend Jessica and had a great time with her and her son Noah. Me and my parents took Ele to see "The greatest show on earth." It really was spectacular! I think me and my parents liked it more then Ele, but she really had a good time. After I spent $22 on a spinny light thingy, and $12 on cotton candy, She was set! She watched then entire show sitting on Gram or Bapa's lap. I didn't get the best of pics because like the moron I am, I brought the little point and shoot and not the good camera. Sorry babe! It is really sad when you are married to a professional photographer and have access the the best cameras, and you take your little one and you don't know how to use it very well. Here are a couple pics that I could salvage.
Phin is a very happy baby now. Since we got the Colic under control, thanks to Gripe water, he is a new baby! Well, he still screams in the car, but we are dealing with that. He is actually getting better. BUT, he is really happy because he can finally sit in his Bumbo chair. He LOVES it! He can see the world. He really likes to sit and watch Ele play and just see what is going on. His eyes are bugging out of his head because he is a Davis and we have huge eyes. Everyone thinks he looks scared all the time, but that is just the joy of having big blues!
Well, that is what has been going on with the Scott clan. We are really looking forward to Fall and all the fun it brings. I love the smell of the leaves and seeing all the colors change on the mountains. Fall is the time of year that I met Jac and fell and never looked back. He is the most amazing husband and father. We all miss having him around so much and can't wait for him to be home more. We are looking forward to celebrating Jac's birthday and our tenth wedding anniversary this November. I am very blessed and love my family so much.
